How to Remove the “Edit with Lovable” Badge

The setting that hides it, which plans have it, why the badge comes back after a downgrade, and what the free plan can do.

The short answer: open Project settings → Publishing and switch on Hide Lovable badge. It works on any paid plan and takes effect on your live site right away. The free plan has no way to hide it, and if your workspace drops back to Free, the badge returns the next time you publish.

These steps are from Lovable's own docs, checked on October 27, 2026. GenVibe, mentioned at the end, is our product.

How to hide the badge, step by step

  1. Open Project settings. In the Lovable editor, open the settings for the project you published.
  2. Go to Publishing. Select the Publishing section of the project settings.
  3. Turn on Hide Lovable badge. Switch on Hide Lovable badge. The badge disappears from your published site right away; you don’t need to publish again.

The setting belongs to the project, so repeat it for each app you publish. If you can't see the switch, check the plan in Workspace settings: on Free, the option isn't available.

Which Lovable plans can hide the badge?

PlanPriceHide the badge?
Free$0No
ProFrom $25/moYes
BusinessFrom $50/moYes
EnterpriseCustomYes

Paying yearly costs 10 times the monthly price, so two months are free. See our Lovable pricing guide for the credit tiers.

Why the badge came back

The setting follows your plan. If your subscription ends or you downgrade to Free, your published app keeps running, but the badge reappears when you next publish. The same downgrade also stops your custom domain from working; see custom domains on Lovable and what happens when you cancel.

A cheaper way to publish without a badge: GenVibe

GenVibe builds web apps and React Native (Expo) mobile apps from a prompt, a Figma design or a screenshot. Free apps publish to a genvibe.app link with a small "Made with GenVibe" badge, and every paid plan removes it and adds a custom domain, from $12 a month for 100 credits ($9 for the first month). Already built on Lovable? Push the project to GitHub and use Clone a Git Repo on GenVibe's home page.

Where it loses: Lovable's default design is more polished, and GenVibe's free plan is 20 credits once, not a daily allowance. Try GenVibe free →
