The short answer: Lovable has four plans. Free gives you 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month. Pro starts at $25/month for 100 credits. Business starts at $50/month for the same 100 credits plus team and security features. Enterprise is priced by contract. Pro and Business also add 5 free credits every day, and you can buy bigger credit tiers on both.
Below is what each plan includes, what a credit really buys, and the limits worth knowing before you pay. All prices are from Lovable's pricing page and documentation, checked on October 11, 2026.
Lovable plans and prices at a glance
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | n/a | 5 a day, up to 30 a month |
| Pro | From $25 | From $250/year | 100 a month + 5 a day |
| Business | From $50 | From $500/year | 100 a month + 5 a day |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | By contract |
Every plan, including Free, also gets 20 Cloud credits and 4 AI credits a month for hosting and for AI features inside your app. Workspaces have unlimited members on every plan, so Lovable doesn't charge per seat.
Pro and Business credit tiers
The headline prices buy 100 credits a month. If you need more, you pick a bigger tier instead of a different plan:
| Credits / month | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | $25 | $50 |
| 200 | $50 | $100 |
| 400 | $100 | $200 |
| 800 | $200 | $400 |
| 1,200 | $294 | $588 |
| 2,000 | $480 | $960 |
The ladder continues up to 10,000 credits ($2,250/month on Pro). Business costs twice as much per credit as Pro: you pay for SSO and admin controls, not for more building.
Is Lovable free?
Yes, and the free plan is one of the more generous ones, with clear limits:
- 5 credits a day, 30 a month at most. The daily allowance resets every day, but you can't bank it: once you've used 30 in a month, you wait for the next month.
- No code editing or download. According to Lovable's plan comparison, editing and downloading code start on Pro.
- No custom domain, and the badge stays. Free apps publish on a Lovable address with an "Edit with Lovable" badge.
Thirty credits a month is enough to build and tweak a small app, a few prompts at a time. If you want to compare free plans side by side, see the free AI app builder roundup.
What a Lovable credit buys
Lovable charges by the size of each request, not a flat price per message. These are Lovable's own examples:
| Request | Credits |
|---|---|
| "Make the button gray" | 0.50 |
| "Remove the footer" | 0.90 |
| "Add authentication with sign up and login" | 1.20 |
| "Build me a landing page, use images" | 1.70–2.00 |
On Pro's 100-credit tier a credit costs $0.25, so a landing page is about 50 cents of your plan. A full app is many requests, each a feature or a fix, so expect a real project to use tens of credits, not one or two.
Do Lovable credits roll over?
- Monthly plans: credits expire two months after they're issued, so unused credits carry over for one extra month.
- Yearly plans: credits expire one month after your yearly period ends.
- Top-ups: last 12 months. They cost $15 per 50 credits on Pro ($0.30 each) and $30 per 50 on Business.
- Free plan: the daily credits don't carry over.
What Pro and Business add
- Pro: edit and download your code, custom domains, no Lovable badge, design systems, user roles and permissions, and email support.
- Business: everything in Pro, plus single sign-on, role-based access, a security center, design templates, personal projects, internal publishing, the Lovable API, password-protected preview links, priority support, and your data excluded from AI training by default.
- Enterprise: publishing and sharing controls, SCIM, audit logs and dedicated support.
Students and teachers get 50% off Pro's 100-credit tier for up to 12 months, verified with a school email.
What Lovable doesn't build: mobile apps
Lovable builds React web apps. It launched iPhone and Android apps in April 2026, but those let you use the builder from your phone; the apps you make are still web apps. You can install one on a home screen as a web app or wrap it yourself, but Lovable doesn't produce a React Native or native project for the App Store and Google Play. If you need a real mobile app, see the best React Native app builders.
Which Lovable plan should you choose?
- Free to try it, or for a small web app you can build 5 credits a day.
- Pro 100 ($25) if you want your code, a custom domain and steady building. Move up a tier only when you keep running out.
- Business if your company needs SSO, access controls or data kept out of AI training. It's twice the price per credit, so solo builders rarely need it.
A cheaper option: GenVibe
If $25 a month is more than you want to spend, or you need a mobile app, GenVibe covers the same prompt-to-app flow for less:
| Lovable | GenVibe | |
|---|---|---|
| Free start | 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month | 20 credits, no card |
| Entry paid plan | $25/mo, 100 credits | $12/mo, 100 credits ($9 first month) |
| Next tier | $50/mo, 200 credits | $25/mo, 250 credits |
| Mobile apps (React Native / Expo) | No, web apps only | Yes, run them on your phone |
| Publish to a live URL | Yes, every plan | Yes, every plan |
| Figma and screenshot import | Yes | Yes |
| Database and logins | Yes (Lovable Cloud or Supabase) | Yes (Supabase) |
Credits aren't the same unit across tools, so compare what you can build, not the raw numbers. GenVibe meters credits by how much work the AI does, and its default Auto mode picks a model your balance can finish with: on the free plan, it built a 10-feature task manager for 2.07 credits.
Where Lovable wins: its free credits renew every month, while GenVibe's 20 are a one-time start, and its web apps are very polished. If you build web apps on the free plan, Lovable is a good choice. If you want a lower monthly price, or an iPhone and Android app from the same prompt, try GenVibe free → or compare them in detail on Lovable vs GenVibe.
Frequently asked questions
Is Lovable free?
