What’s new in GenVibe: October 2026

Six things shipped since September: Google Play publishing, Shopify stores as apps, payments with no server code, skills, an Auto model and app icons.

We have been quiet on the blog and busy in the product. Here is everything that shipped since the last update, newest first, with what each one lets you do today.

Turn a Shopify store into an app

Connect your Shopify store under Customize → Connectors, then describe the app you want: a product list with collections and search, product pages with variants, a cart that remembers itself, and checkout on Shopify’s own secure page. GenVibe builds it with your real products, and it works both as a website and as a mobile app.

Your store’s credentials stay on GenVibe’s servers. The app talks to your store through GenVibe, so you never run a backend. The AI can add products or collections when you ask; it cannot touch orders, customers or refunds, which stay in your Shopify admin.

Payments and email, no server code

The same connection system covers Stripe, Razorpay (UPI, cards and netbanking for India) and Resend for email. Connect a service once with its key, and every app you build can use it, including published sites and mobile apps, with no server code to write. The key never ends up in your app’s code.

You can also connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini key, so an app that needs AI inside it uses your account.

Skills: a playbook attached to a prompt

A skill is a set of instructions the AI follows for a kind of work. Pick one from the “+” menu or type its name with a slash, and it appears as a chip on your message. SEO, Expo Router, 3D and more are available under Customize → Skills, and the ones you add stay on your shelf for every project.

Publish to Google Play from the chat

Once your mobile app works, GenVibe builds the Android release and submits it to your own Google Play account. Android builds are free on your Expo account. The step-by-step guide is in How to publish an app on Google Play. iOS is next.

Auto model

Auto is now the default. It picks the model that can finish the job with the credits you have, so a build no longer runs dry halfway. You can still choose a model yourself from the model menu.

App icons from a prompt

Ask for an icon and the AI designs it and installs every size your app needs, for the web and for mobile builds. No image editor, no export settings.

Try it

Every account starts with 20 free credits and no card. Paid plans start at $12 a month; see pricing. If you already have a store, a design or an idea, describe it and see what comes back.
